General Terms and Conditions

1.This auction site is hosted by Saffas Web, of Poldings Limited on behalf of City Furniture Clearance Ltd Your participation in an auction and use of this auction site are subject to the following terms and conditions. Any agreement reached to purchase a product is an agreement with us, City Furniture Clearance Ltd and NOT Poldings Limited. If you do not accept these terms and conditions you should not take part in any auction. Only persons who are aged 18 years or over may participate in our auction. In order to participate in our auction you will first be required to register and provide a genuine address and phone number of which we will verify before being allowed to bid on any of our products. We reserve the right to exclude you, or withdraw your participation, from an auction at any time.

2. As stated in our auctions, products, which are for auction on this site belong to us and are either New Second-hand or Refurbished Products. Your attention is drawn to the description given to each of our products, which are specifically stated on this site. While we warrant that the products to be auctioned through this site will Similar to or equivalent to the description given, and will except as expressly stated on this site, be of satisfactory quality, we exclude all other warranties, express or implied, in respect of the products.

3. The winning bid in any auction will be the offer accepted and which where applicable, meets any other conditions stated as applicable to a particular auction. The price of the winning bid is inclusive of any VAT unless otherwise stated and a Vat invoice will be provided. The price of the winning Item/Items can be paid instantly by PAYPAL or you can call Martin Wilson Internet Sales on 01733 208111 to make credit/debit card payment, along with any additional costs applicable.

4. Products won on the auction site will be delivered (Subject to Delivery Quotation agreed) to addresses on the UK mainland only. Goods can only be delivered to the cardholders' addresses unless otherwise agreed.

4.a.We can ship items worldwide but do request that no International bidders take part in our auctions without prior agreement from ourselves, any such accounts set up from international countries for fraudulent reasons will be closed pending investigation and all details past on to appropriate authorities.

5. Bids may be refused or removed, including those in respect of which there is dispute or which fail to reach the reserve price (where applicable).

6. Auctions may be closed early or extended at any time. Auctions may be cancelled or listings withdrawn because of, amongst other things, technical difficulties.

7. On delivery, if the goods are faulty or do not conform to description, you may contact us within 7 days. In such event we will provide a replacement where possible or issue a credit note of the sum paid by you as a winning bid and any delivery charges.

8. You may download and print extracts from this site in relation to an auction for your personal use only. No rights, title or interest in any downloaded materials or software is transferred to you by such downloading. No other use may be made of such material without our written permission.

9. English law applies to these terms and conditions, which apply to auctions conducted on this site to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions. You are referred to our Privacy Policy in respect of how we will use any data provided by you to us. Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights.
